390 GT big block cat
There’s not much more than a shell left of this Cougar, but it could still make a good project car. Not only is it a factory big block GT, but it’s also an XR-7. 1967 was the first year for the Mercury Cougar, which was the luxury cousin to the wildly popular Ford Mustang. The XR-7 was an interior and appearance package including leather bucket seats, full instrumentation, wood grain dash, deluxe interior w/ consoles and XR-7 badges on the B pillars. Only about 2,700 Cougars were made in 1967 with both the GT and XR-7 packages. Read the rest of this entry »

Chevy Impala “Field Find”
We’ve all heard of that great barn find muscle car that’s been hiding in some out of the way location just waiting to be found and restored. This 62 Impala 2 door is more like a “field find”. It actually was in a barn for many years, but then was dragged out into a field so it could rust away even faster! Read the rest of this entry »

1970 Superbee 383 4 speed
This Superbee would be a great restoration candidate. It’s a fairly straight and complete body… and it even runs! There’s an occasional wrinkle in the sheet metal, but no major accident damage. The rust appears to be minimal, although you’d have to see it in person to be sure.

Unfinished classic T-bird project car
The previous owner of this ’57 Tbird probably had the right idea to turn it into a hotrod or restomod. Granted, first generation Thunderbirds are worth a lot of money in nice restored or survivor condition, but this particular car just doesn’t have enough left to go down that road. Replica made from a real wrecked Shelby
Shelby clones are a dime a dozen, but this one is a little different. This replica was made back in the early 70’s with all the parts coming from a true 1966 Shelby that had been totaled. Not that it’s worth approaches that of a true Shelby, but those parts alone are worth quite a sum. Read the rest of this entry »

Hidden 1964 T-bird
It took a good eye to even spot this 1964 Thunderbird under all the trash piled up around it. Hidden in a back yard that looks more like a junk yard, this T-bird might be worth saving… Or maybe not. You’d have to spend a day digging it out just to see what’s there.

426 HEMI rotting in a junk yard!
More than 30 years ago this 1968 Charger R/T was stolen. Eventually the police recovered it, but then it sat and slowly got stripped of parts. The original 426 HEMI is lost, as is the factory column shift transmission, K frame and all tags.

Field Find – ’67 Camaro drop top
There aren’t many cars better for cruising on a mild summer night then a 1967 Camaro convertible. This one looks like it’s seen better days for sure, but maybe it could be brought back to its former glory with a lot of work. Read the rest of this entry »

1970 Superbee 383 4 speed
The Dodge Coronet Superbee’s were one of those solid muscle cars that just weren’t produced in large numbers. That makes nice, clean examples like this one harder and harder to find today.

Ex-drag racing Galaxy with R code 427 big block
Talk about ridden hard and put away wet. This one owner 1963 1/2 Galaxie 500 was ordered from the factory with the potent 427 cid FE big block. It was ordered to drag race and that’s exactly what it did for several years, but then was put in storage. It’s been gathering dust there for more than four decades. Read the rest of this entry »
