Replica made from a real wrecked Shelby
Shelby clones are a dime a dozen, but this one is a little different. This replica was made back in the early 70’s with all the parts coming from a true 1966 Shelby that had been totaled. Not that it’s worth approaches that of a true Shelby, but those parts alone are worth quite a sum. Read the rest of this entry »

Factory Big Block, 4 Speed Mustang in the weeds!
Wow, this hurts the eyes; a factory big block 1968 Mustang fastback with weeds growing through the floor boards! It’s been sitting in the Florida salt air for who knows how long, which you can tell by the surface rust on every square inch. Read the rest of this entry »

Factory 428 CJ Mach 1
Classic Mustang + Factory 428 CJ = High Dollar. Take this ’69 Mach 1 for example. It’s essentially just a rolling shell (minus engine) and it still sold for over $18,000 recently on eBay! Apparently the 428 CJ is a powerful motivator to the checkbook as well as on the pavement! Read the rest of this entry »

1967 Fastback – Big Block Mustang
Now this is a pretty sad sight. It’s a factory S code 390 Mustang fastback that’s been wrecked hard in the rear and then hacked apart in the front. 1967 was the first year for a big block in the Ford Mustang. That coupled with the fastback body style makes this a very desirable muscle car.

Rusty and stripped, but good restoration project
Here sits one of the all time classic muscle cars, a Boss 302 Mustang, but in pretty poor condition. It’s a genuine G code Boss 302 car and has the VIN and Marti report to prove it. Unfortunately the most important parts of this car are missing, including the engine and transmission. This Mustang project car is missing pretty much all of the special Boss 302 specific items Read the rest of this entry »

Shelby GT-500 KR sitting since 1975?
Isn’t it every car guy’s dream to find some old forgotten barn somewhere, pull a tarp back and find a jewel like this? A 1968 Shelby GT-500 KR convertible would make the ultimate barn find! But alas, this one isn’t real. Well, it’s a real barn find, but not a real Shelby. Read the rest of this entry »

Garaged for 14 years
Dan S. submitted these photos of a nice project Mustang sitting in a garage waiting to be rescued. He didn’t give much info, but it’s a 1968 Mustang fastback with a factory V8 and automatic transmission. It’s a small block from the engine photo, so either a 289 or 302. Read the rest of this entry »

1967 Fastback – Eleanor?!?!?
If I see one more person call their project Mustang an “Eleanor” I’m going to lose my head. C’mon people! “Gone in 60 Seconds” came out almost a dozen years ago. Not every freakin’ Mustang fastback is an Eleanor in the making! Read the rest of this entry »

1968 GT/CS for sale
This project Mustang was recently posted for sale on the Massechusetts Craigslist for $2000. A pretty good deal for this rare Mustang, assuming it’s not about to collapse into a pile of rust. Read the rest of this entry »
