Back yard or junk yard?
It’s hard to tell if this is a back yard or junk yard. Over the years this guy has put together a pretty good classic car collection that’s now rusting away in his yard. He seems to be mostly a Ford guy, but also has some Mercury’s and Cadillacs to round out the collection.

A couple of Ford Super 8’s complete with engines.

4 door Comet Caliente, 1969 Cougar and 429 HO motor
And round off the collection with a couple of Caddy’s.
Hey cool stuff, my pics made it!!
There is a story that goes with every car in this guy’s yard. It is not necessarily a junk yard but a guy’s actual back yard at his house in the middle of an old housing development! CRAZY!!
The Super Eights were acquired when the guy the current owner did work for couldn’t pay. He drove both of them to where you see them in the photos and you see the rest.
The ’59 Caddy belonged to his father and “he will never get rid of it.” by the looks of how he took care of it, I don’t think he liked his father that much.
I went to a SOuthern Maryland car show one afternoon only to find out it was rained out. My buddy and I went to a restaurant and were talking cars. The topic of Galaxies came up and the owner of all these cars happened to be sitting at the table next to us. He took us to his place and showed us what used to be the mack daddy of all ’63 Galaxies; the 500XL Vert.
This car is unmolested and un-taken care of. I can only imagine driving this car in its glory.
Love that engine!
