1965 Pontiac GTO Coupe

This is THE original muscle car; a 1964 GTO. This was the first year for GM’s A body as well as the legendary GTO. This example has a bit of rust, but really appears quite solid. At least it hasn’t been sitting in a field for 20 years. It may have been forgotten and neglected, but it doesn’t have it’s tires in the grave just yet.

It’s a factory PHS verified GTO with floor shift. This goat lost it’s engine and transmission somewhere along the line, but the rest is still mostly there and intact. With some basic rust repair (quarter panels, floor pans and trunk) this will be a nice restoration project for someone. Now the owner just needs to be convinced that he’s never going to restore it and let it go!
