1970 Barracuda Auto

1970 Barracuda Automatic1970 Plymouth Barracuda 318 cid

This probably was once a pretty nice '70 Barracuda. Unfortunately it's been scavenged for parts and left out to collect snow for years, so there's not much left to work with. It's missing the doors, all glass, interior, front clip, hood, trunk lid and rear axle. Read the rest of this entry »

1967 Mustang “Eleanor” Fastback

1967 Fastback - Eleanor?!?!?

If I see one more person call their project Mustang an "Eleanor" I'm going to lose my head. C'mon people! "Gone in 60 Seconds" came out almost a dozen years ago. Not every freakin' Mustang fastback is an Eleanor in the making! Read the rest of this entry »

1969 Dodge Charger 383

1969-dodge-charger1969 Dodge Charger 383

You can tell this '69 Charger has been sitting for years because of the trees growing around it. Those saplings have definitely sprouted up since the car was parked in this back lot. It looks like this Charger has a few other Dodge brothers keeping it company. They were probably all "going to be restored" at some point, but now just sit and rust.

1955 Thunderbird – Extra Crispy

Posted in Ford, Thunderbird | No Comments »

1955-thunderbird-fire1955 Ford Thunderbird Charbroiled

There's not much chance of bringing this Tbird back from it's fiery grave. The storage shed is sat in for years went up in flames with the rest of the house and that's all she wrote for this old Ford. Too bad. It's getting harder to find a decent classic T-bird for sale and it sounds like this one was in good shape before it got BBQ'ed. Insurance probably cut a nice fat check, but it's not going to get this Thunderbird back on the road. Read the rest of this entry »

1966 GTO – Rust Bucket

Posted in GTO, Pontiac | No Comments »

1966-gto-rusted1966 Pontiac GTO 389

From the front this '66 GTO doesn't look like a bad restoration candidate. But then walk around to the drivers rear and whoooaaa! Where's the rear quarter panel? Start looking a little closer and you'll see this car is just waiting to fall apart. The trunk and floor pans are total swiss cheese. And that surface rust covering every body panel might come off with media blasting, but would probably leave enough pits to require a whole new skin of bondo. Read the rest of this entry »

1969 Mach 1 428 CJ

1969-mach-1-31969 Mustang 428 CJ

It took an act of God to uncover this rare 428 Cobra Jet powered 1969 Mach 1. It had been sitting in a Florida barn with other classic cars for years when a hurricane came through and literally tore the roof right off. The building was trashed, but luckily this Mustang wasn't damaged. But it did force the owner to finally offer up this Mustang for sale. Read the rest of this entry »
