1969 Mustang 351-2v Mach 1
This car could be the twin sister to this other 1969 Mach 1 posted back in Feb. They literally could have rolled off the assembly line one after the other. They're both 351-2V cars, both Mach 1's, both built at the Metuchen, NJ Ford plant, both Silver Jade paint with gold Mach 1 side stripes.... and both sitting in a junk yard stripped out and totally neglected. 1970 Plymouth Superbird Roadrunner
Recently pulled out from storage, this would be a great project to jump on. It's an original 440 4bbl car backed up by a console shift automatic. 1956 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
This '56 Corvette shell and chassis has been sitting in storage for over 35 years. It was stripped in 1974 for a restoration, but as we all know sometimes real life gets in the way of our hobbies. The original 265 engine is long gone as is the rest of the drive train. No word on whether this was originally a 3 speed manual or a Powerglide automatic. Read the rest of this entry »

Three 1967-68 Mustang Fastbacks
How would you like to stumble upon this find? Not one, not two, but three classic Mustang fastbacks. Two are 1968's and one is a 1967. Having 3 shells to start with seems like a good deal at first, but as you study these neglected Muscle cars more the appeal starts to wear off. 1963 Ford Galaxie

"Dad got the car from the original owner in the 90's and been sitting since. We pulled the engine out awhile back and have been soaking it. Found the rear intake gasket blown out and the clutch was down to the rivets. Pulled the pan and the engine is clean as new, hope to unstick it and roll on. 1955 Corvette
Sometimes those stories about a dream car tucked away in some old guy's barn aren't too far off. Here's a candidate for a really nice project. It's a 1955 Corvette that looks to be Pennant Blue. This was a super rare color with only 45 produced because it was replaced early in 1955 with Harvest Gold. Not much more info available on this car, but it sure would be fun to wrench on. How sad is this Mustang? They don't get much more abused and neglected then what you see here. This '65 convertible is so pitiful looking it's almost funny. Almost. 1966 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power
It's hard to beat a factory Tr-Power GTO for wow factor. Plus it's got a 4 speed tranny, 3.55 posi rear and power steering. This one looks like a decent candidate for a full resto. Lots of surface rust, but maybe not much structural cancer. Read the rest of this entry »

1966 Dodge Charger
This Charger is a little crispy after an engine fire. The hood, windshield, dash and drivers door are torched and need serious work.
It's too bad too, because it looks like a bit of work had been done to this car. Note the shaved door handles and very straight body panels. Also has a late model fuel injected 5.9 Magnum under that BBQ'd hood. Read the rest of this entry »

1969 Mustang Mach 1
Original Mach 1's are getting harder to find, so this Silver Jade specimen really isn't too bad a project once you get past the rust. And there's a lot of that.
