1967 Fastback - Big Block MustangNow this is a pretty sad sight. It's a factory S code 390 Mustang fastback that's been wrecked hard in the rear and then hacked apart in the front. 1967 was the first year for a big block in the Ford Mustang. That coupled with the fastback body style makes this a very desirable muscle car.
Here's a nice project for big block Ford fans. It's a 390 GT 1967 Fairlane with a few nice factory options including front disc brakes and bucket seats. Ford redesigned the Fairlane in 1967 and gave enough room between the front fenders to stuff the FE series big block. The 390 cid was the first big block and came as either a GT or GT-A (for automatic transmission). The GT package included heavy duty suspension, engine dress up parts, a GT hood and disc brakes. Here sits one of the all time classic muscle cars, a Boss 302 Mustang, but in pretty poor condition. It's a genuine G code Boss 302 car and has the VIN and Marti report to prove it. Unfortunately the most important parts of this car are missing, including the engine and transmission. He didn't give much info, but it's a 1968 Mustang fastback with a factory V8 and automatic transmission. It's a small block from the engine photo, so either a 289 or 302. Hardly any info was supplied about this 1969 Fairlane that was for sale recently. It was advertised as the proverbial "barn find" (an absurdly overused catch phrase in today's collector car market) Not exactly a super rare find, but it does appear to have been in storage for a few decades. 1955 Ford Thunderbird CharbroiledThere's not much chance of bringing this Tbird back from it's fiery grave. The storage shed is sat in for years went up in flames with the rest of the house and that's all she wrote for this old Ford. Too bad. It's getting harder to find a decent classic T-bird for sale and it sounds like this one was in good shape before it got BBQ'ed.
