1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE
This stripped down 1970 Challenger R/T was found sitting in a Virginia backyard collecting leaves, snow and of course RUST. The VIN breaks down as an N code 335 hp 383 cid Magnum V8 high power engine. It rolled off the Hamtramck, MI assembly plant back in 1970. Read the rest of this entry »

The Cougar that Mercury never made
It's a safe bet that this is probably the first '68 Cougar convertible you've ever seen. That's because Mercury never made one. The Cougar started in 1967, but they were hard tops only. It wasn't until 1969 that a convertible Cougar was offered for sale.

1970 Superbird Barn (on fire) Find
This Plymouth Superbird for sale on ebay right now is smokin' hot... as in literally on fire! OK, sorry for the bad pun, but there is an interesting story behind this crispy muscle car. See the info from the seller below.
This was once a fully restored super rare 1970 Superbird with a 440 6 pack (triple 2 barrel carbs) and a 727 automatic transmission. It was originally clad in Tor Red, although now it's mostly surface rust and charcoal. Read the rest of this entry »

1968 Dodge Charger 383
Here's a General Lee wannabe that's been sitting for a few years (check out the Confederate flag sticker in the rear window). The guy said his buddy owned it, but keeps saying it's going to be restored some day. How many times have you heard that one? Read the rest of this entry »

1967 GTO in a barn
Thanks for Charlie for submitting this project of his. Per his email it was bought in 1980 to restore, but sat in a pole barn with dirt floor until 05-10-2011. He hasn't decided what to do with it yet. The engine is not frozen, but frame is shot. As you can see from the first shot it's sagging almost in half.
Good luck on the restoration Charlie or on finding it a good home if you decide to sell it! Read the rest of this entry »

'67 Chevy Camaro Rally Sport
It's really a pity to see a great car like this abandoned and up on blocks. It's been stripped of so many of it's parts and then left out in the yard to rust. Floor boards, rear quarters and truck floor are all swiss cheese with cancer. Read the rest of this entry »

1969 Ford Ranchero 390-cid
Here's a nice factory big block Ranchero that someone started to disassemble and then lost interest for whatever reason. It actually looks pretty much unmolested and seems to have fairly straight body panels. Hard to tell for sure of course without a closer inspection, but the owner says it's an Arizona car and so doesn't have much rust. Of course we all know how that goes. Read the rest of this entry »

1969 AMX by AMC
Check out this '69 AMX rolling chassis. The original 390 cid engine and "Shift Command" 3 speed automatic are long gone. But hey, that's just the excuse you were looking for to make a Pro-street drag car, right? And the blown motor you were going to cram in there would require a wicked hood scoop anyway, so the fact that the hood is MIA isn't a problem either. Read the rest of this entry »
