1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window
Yet another fire damaged Corvette. Those fiberglass bodies sure disintegrate in a hurry when they catch on fire. The source on both cars was the same, so you wonder if they were both torched in the same fire? Pretty expensive fire. The famous Split Window on this Corvette is unfortunately melted away completely.
This was a factory Riverside Red car with red interior. It rolled out of the factory with a 327 cid (300 hp) motor and 4 speed manual transmission. The engine is no longer original and neither is the transmission unfortunately. Exhaust manifolds are correct, for all the good that does this scorched piece of melted fiberglass.
