1963 Ford Galaxie

"Dad got the car from the original owner in the 90's and been sitting since. We pulled the engine out awhile back and have been soaking it. Found the rear intake gasket blown out and the clutch was down to the rivets. Pulled the pan and the engine is clean as new, hope to unstick it and roll on. 1955 Corvette

Sometimes those stories about a dream car tucked away in some old guy's barn aren't too far off. Here's a candidate for a really nice project. It's a 1955 Corvette that looks to be Pennant Blue. This was a super rare color with only 45 produced because it was replaced early in 1955 with Harvest Gold.

Actually all of the 1955 Corvettes are very rare, with only 700 produced. This was compared to 3,640 made the year before. The release of Ford's brand new Thunderbird was part of that sales decline and rumor was that the Corvette project would be short lived at GM.

1965 Ford Mustang Convertible

How sad is this Mustang? They don't get much more abused and neglected then what you see here. This '65 convertible is so pitiful looking it's almost funny. Almost. 1966 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power

It's hard to beat a factory Tr-Power GTO for wow factor. Plus it's got a 4 speed transmission, 3.55 posi rear and power steering. This one looks like a decent candidate for a full restoration. Sure it has plenty of surface rust, but maybe not much structural cancer. Read the rest of this entry »

1966 Dodge Charger

This Charger is a little crispy after an engine fire. The hood, windshield, dash and drivers door are torched and need serious work.

It's too bad too, because it looks like a bit of work had been done to this car. Note the shaved door handles and very straight body panels. Also has a late model fuel injected 5.9 Magnum under that BBQ'd hood. Read the rest of this entry »

1969 Mustang Mach 1

Original Mach 1's are getting harder to find, so this Silver Jade specimen really isn't too bad a project once you get past the rust. And there's a lot of that. 1969 Mustang 351-2v Mach 1

This car could be the twin sister to this other 1969 Mach 1 posted back in Feb. They literally could have rolled off the assembly line one after the other. They're both 351-2V cars, both Mach 1's, both built at the Metuchen, NJ Ford plant, both Silver Jade paint with gold Mach 1 side stripes.... and both sitting in a junk yard stripped out and totally neglected. 1969 Cougar 390 big block

Big block + convertible = nice project Muscle car. Here's a true S code 390-4v big block Cougar convertible. There were only 344 convertibles made that year with the 390 FE big block. It's not an Eliminator or anything, but definitely worth restoring. Read the rest of this entry »
