1971 Mustang Convertible
Here’s another nice convertible wasting away in the woods waiting for someone to fix her up. 1971 was the first year of the really big Mustangs and many don’t really see these cars as being on the same level as the early Mustangs. But if you like the body lines of this hefty Mustang then a convertible is a good choice. Ford only made 6,121 Mustang drop tops in 1971. Read the rest of this entry »

1968 Golden Nugget Special Mustang
The Ford marketing team and dealerships did a lot in the 60’s with regional promotional Specials. The 1968 Gold Nugget Special was one of those. It was an appearance package only. No performance goodies. The Golden Nuggets received special ‘Sunlit Gold” paint, black out hood stripes and a black vinyl top. Read the rest of this entry »

1969 Plymouth Road Runner
Another great car that sat neglected in a field for way too long. This is an original 383-4v car with automatic tranny. But at some point someone decided they’d rather have a 4 speed and so butchered it and ripped out the original transmission. Read the rest of this entry »

1969 Mustang – Mach 1
Not much info available on this neglected Mach 1. It’s powered by a 351 W engine (M-code) mated to a factory 4 speed. Desirable drive train for sure. Combine that with the much sought after Mach 1 option and this project Mustang is looking better and better. Read the rest of this entry »

Rare 428 Cobra Jet Cougar
Here’s one you don’t see every day. It’s a factory R code 428 CJ Cougar. And no, it’s not a GTE, which is how most of the 428 & 427 Cougars were sold. It’s confirmed with a Marti report that this is one of 101 built.

[ad name=”Adsense 468×15 text below title”]Here’s a factory original 440 Road Runner; one of the true fire breathing, legendary Muscle cars from Plymouth. This one has been sitting in a field for 25+ years and certainly shows it.
Behind the 440 is a factory 4 speed and 3.55 gears. Body-wise this car needs some work, but not as bad as some. Read the rest of this entry »

This Boss 302 has seen some better days.
In it’s glory days this desirable Boss 302 was Bright Yellow and sported a black interior, shaker hood scoop and 3.91 rear gears. Then mother nature got to her and now just check out that rust!
