1946 Ford Sedan – Hot Rod Project Car
OK, this isn’t a Muscle Car, but it’s too cool to not post up the pics. Not much info on this one, but just close your eyes and imagine what kind of ride you could create with this cool little Sedan.
A bit of rust and a trashed interior, but really the body panels aren’t too bad. This would be a fun project for sure. Read the rest of this entry »

1973 Mustang Mach 1
Wander through the back woods of West Virginia long enough and you might stumble upon this junk yard in the trees. Looks like there are a few other Musclecars tucked in there too. Looks like a Cougar behind it and a Challenger or Charger maybe? Read the rest of this entry »

1965 Pontiac GTO
This would be a sweet little project Goat. It’s a 1965 GTO and has obviously been sitting, but really looks worse then it is. The rust is there and would need to be dealt with, but if the price was right it could be worth dealing with the cancer.

1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window
Yet another fire damaged Corvette. Those fiberglass bodies sure disintegrate in a hurry when they catch on fire. The source on both cars was the same, so you wonder if they were both torched in the same fire? Pretty expensive fire. Read the rest of this entry »

1963 Chevy Nova SS Coupe
This cool little Nova SS has probably been someone’s neglected project for some time. At least it hasn’t been sitting in a field or a barn, but there’s still quite a bit of rust to deal with. It’s a 6 cylinder, but at least it runs! Read the rest of this entry »

1954 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
Here’s a project to get you drooling; a nice little ’54 Vette chassis that looks to be mostly unmolested. The floor was hacked up a bit where someone tried to install a 4 speed, but nothing that can’t be fixed. Now, locating a correct motor & transmission might be harder. Read the rest of this entry »

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T
Here’s a numbers matching 383 car with a slap stick automatic transmission. The original Plum Crazy purple exterior paint has been replaced by a wonderfully blah cream color at some point. Or maybe that’s just really old and faded primer on a half-assed past restoration attempt. Read the rest of this entry »

1971 Mustang Convertible
Here’s another nice convertible wasting away in the woods waiting for someone to fix her up. 1971 was the first year of the really big Mustangs and many don’t really see these cars as being on the same level as the early Mustangs. But if you like the body lines of this hefty Mustang then a convertible is a good choice. Ford only made 6,121 Mustang drop tops in 1971. Read the rest of this entry »

1968 Golden Nugget Special Mustang
The Ford marketing team and dealerships did a lot in the 60’s with regional promotional Specials. The 1968 Gold Nugget Special was one of those. It was an appearance package only. No performance goodies. The Golden Nuggets received special ‘Sunlit Gold” paint, black out hood stripes and a black vinyl top. Read the rest of this entry »

1968 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible – 427 + 4 speed
So, how do you lose the entire ass end of your big block Corvette? Maybe he was mud bogging it, got stuck and the back woods tow truck driver ripped off the rear end pulling it out. It could happen. Read the rest of this entry »
